The Village Loaf is our signature sourdough loaf. A curious baker regularly changes the ratio, but it's usually 70% white-ish flour and 30% wholemeal flour. This style of bread is often called a country loaf, but this loaf was born in a village, hence its name.

We use UK grown organic stoneground flour grown at Turners of Bytham and milled at Tuxford windmill. Stoneground flour contains more bran than roller-mill flour, which contains more nutrition from the bran.
